LanverseInterview Experience · 20 Jun 2026

Oracle Fusion & OIC interviews are no longer just about definitions.

Earlier, interviewers asked things like:

  • What is an OIC adapter?
  • What is HDL?
  • What is BI Publisher bursting?
  • How do you call a REST API from OIC?

But for senior roles, the questions are changing.

Now they ask:

“Your OIC integration failed in production at 2 AM. What will you do?”

This question is not only about checking logs.

A strong answer should explain:

✅ Business impact
✅ Failed records
✅ Root cause analysis
✅ Safe recovery
✅ Stakeholder communication
✅ Retry and error-handling design
✅ Permanent fix after production recovery

That is what separates a developer-level answer from a senior consultant-level answer.

I have shared a detailed blog on Lanverse covering 3 real senior-level scenarios:

1️⃣ OIC production integration failure
2️⃣ HDL migration with high error rate
3️⃣ Security risk before go-live
