Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Good to have skills : SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development, Data Architect

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
This role is for a Senior Data Architect (10+ years) who will lead a large-scale transformation of the existing SAP BW/BW4HANA data warehouse to a modern Azure Databricks Lakehouse platform. The candidate will be responsible for defining the target architecture, leading the migration strategy, establishing data governance standards, and guiding engineering teams throughout the modernization journey.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure Databricks, SAP BW/BW4HANA, Data Engineering, PySpark, SQL, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, and Azure Cloud services. They should also possess hands-on experience in DevOps practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), automation, monitoring, and security implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading SAP BW to Azure Databricks migration and modernization initiatives.
Designing scalable Lakehouse architectures using Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.
Building and optimizing enterprise data pipelines and integration frameworks.
Implementing DevOps and DevSecOps best practices for data platforms.
Ensuring data governance, security, monitoring, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
Providing technical leadership and collaborating with business, SAP, reporting, and platform teams.
