Solution Architect - Network

1. Summary We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our Technology Practice. In this client-facing role, you will convert sales-qualified opportunities into technically sound, commercially viable solutions – from requirement validation to a delivery-ready solution – working closely with the Sales Team and bringing deep expertise in networking, cloud, and Microsoft technologies. 2. Roles & Responsibilities Requirement Validation & Sales Collaboration ▸ Validate requirements, scope, and technical feasibility of sales-qualified opportunities. ▸ Act as key liaison with the Sales Team, clarifying gaps and aligning scope, timelines, and commercial expectations. Client Engagement & Advisory ▸ Lead client conversations to probe, validate, and refine requirements. ▸ Act as a trusted advisor, presenting proposals, architecture blueprints, and roadmaps to technical and business stakeholders. Solutioning & Architecture ▸ Design end-to-end solutions across SD-WAN, networking, Microsoft Product Suite, and Cloud Implementation Services. ▸ Define resource requirements and effort estimates (number of resources and days). ▸ Develop architecture documentation, BOMs, SOWs, and technical proposals. ▸ Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives and best practices. Internal Coordination & Stakeholder Management ▸ Coordinate with delivery leads, engineers, project managers, vendors, and practice leads to refine solutions. ▸ Ensure seamless handover to delivery with complete documentation and knowledge transfer post-award. ▸ Engage vendor and partner ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS/Azure) for technical and commercial support. 3. Technical Skills SD-WAN & Networking ▸ Designing SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud). ▸ Enterprise networking: routing, switching, firewalls, MPLS, BGP, and segmentation. ▸ Network transformation, including legacy WAN to SD-WAN migration. Microsoft Product Suite ▸ Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint. ▸ Microsoft licensing models and their commercial implications. ▸ Microsoft security: Defender, Sentinel, and Zero Trust principles. Cloud Implementation Services ▸ Architecting Azure and/or AWS solutions: IaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud, and cloud migration. ▸ Cloud governance, cost optimization, and security best practices. ▸ Sizing and scoping cloud engagements, including effort estimation. 4. Additional Information Experience & Qualifications ▸ 8+ years as a Solution Architect, Pre-Sales Architect, or Senior Technical Consultant in managed services, systems integration, or technology consulting. ▸ Proven track record designing complex, multi-technology solutions in client-facing roles. ▸ Experience turning sales-qualified opportunities into delivery-ready proposals. ▸ Strong commercial acumen in resource planning, effort estimation, and solution costing. ▸ Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences. ▸ Preferred certifications: CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft Azure/M365, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent. ▸ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). ▸ 15 years of mandatory education.
