What would you do? To oversee and implement effective project planning, risk assessment, cost management, and scheduling activities for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and compliance with utility standards and regulations.
What are we looking for? Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engg • Degree or certification in Project Management / Risk Management / Cost Control (preferred). ________________________________________ Experience: • Enough experience in power utility / EPC / transmission & distribution / generation projects. • Strong exposure to project controls, risk assessment, and cost management systems. • Hands-on experience in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel-based cost models. Key Skills: • Project risk analysis and mitigation planning • Cost estimation and variance analysis • Scheduling and critical path analysis • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CEA, CERC, state utilities) • Data-driven reporting and analytics • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Roles and Responsibilities: Risk Management • Develop and implement risk management frameworks in line with ISO 31000 / utility standards. • Identify potential project and operational risks, quantify their impact, and develop mitigation strategies. • Maintain risk registers and conduct regular risk review workshops. • Support management in decision-making through risk-based performance insights.
