Project Role Description : Support clients to design, build and run an agile, scalable IT infrastructure that is standardized and optimized to deliver operational efficiencies, improve employee and workplace performance and meet dynamic business demands. Apply infrastructure improvements across the workplace, network, data center and operations as well as provide resources to manage and run the infrastructure on a managed or capacity services basis.

Role Summary
The AWS IaaS Administrator manages, supports, and optimizes AWS cloud infrastructure services. The role covers provisioning, administration, monitoring, security, automation, operational support, and continuous improvement of AWS-based infrastructure platforms while ensuring high availability, compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Infrastructure Administration
Provision and manage AWS IaaS resources.
Administer EC2 instances across Linux and Windows environments.
Configure and manage VPCs, routing, VPN connectivity and network security.
Support high availability and disaster recovery requirements.
Monitoring & Operations
Monitor cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch and enterprise monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, storage and performance issues.
Manage alerts, incidents and service requests.
Participate in on-call support and major incident management.
Security & Compliance
Implement IAM policies and role-based access controls.
Support compliance requirements including GxP, SOX and security controls.
Manage AWS security services, encryption and audit logging.
Ensure adherence to organizational cloud governance standards.
Infrastructure Automation
Automate provisioning and operational activities using Terraform, CloudFormation, PowerShell, Python and shell scripting.
Support Infrastructure as Code implementation.
Backup, DR & Continuous Improvement
Manage AWS Backup solutions.
Validate backup and restore activities.
Participate in DR testing and recovery exercises.
Recommend infrastructure optimization and cloud cost optimization opportunities.
Drive operational excellence and automation improvements.
