As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple teams to maintain system stability and support business continuity through effective problem identification and resolution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of application issues.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management and deployment within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions in cloud platforms.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues affecting application performance.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline operational tasks.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud infrastructure.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
