Project Role Description : Provides assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud. Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies driving next-generation business outcomes.

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that solutions are scalable and perform efficiently. The position requires collaboration with various teams to deliver seamless cloud integration that supports advanced business objectives and future growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes and address any challenges that arise.
- Document migration procedures and best practices to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration activities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- Experience in managing database performance, backup, recovery, and security within cloud migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and their integration with on-premises database systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues during migration.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline migration tasks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
