Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components to understand their structure and functionality. You will design solutions tailored to client requirements, develop and test code to ensure it meets quality standards, and maintain existing software by implementing enhancements or resolving issues. Collaboration with team members and clients to align on project goals and deliverables is an integral part of the daily workflow, ensuring continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear records of development activities.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their tasks.
- Continuously update knowledge on emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP HANA DB Administration.
- Strong understanding of system performance tuning and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
- Experience in managing SAP system installations, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Ability to monitor and optimize database and application server performance.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our DDC 1 - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
