Summary:
Independently deliver defined SAP BTP application-development engineering, assessment and remediation activities with clear evidence and escalation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and review CAP applications, CDS data models, HANA Cloud artifacts, APIs, UI5/Fiori components and Cloud Foundry deployment descriptors.
Configure and validate HDI containers, service bindings, destinations, application routing, XSUAA authorization, identity integration and connectivity.
Execute unit, integration, security, performance and deployment testing document defects, findings and corrective actions.
Support MTA builds, CI/CD, transport coordination, release validation, monitoring, incident analysis and production stabilization.
Maintain RAG ratings, risks, dependencies, technical decisions and remediation actions with evidence traceability.
Participate in workshops, prepare technical summaries and escalate quality, security, performance or schedule concerns.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: SAP BTP application development, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, SAP HANA Cloud, Cloud Foundry, CDS, Node.js or Java, OData or REST services, SAPUI5/Fiori and clean-core extensions.
Good to have Skills: SAP Build Code, SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Build Apps, Kyma, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery, and Transport Management Service.
Experience with HDI containers, MTA deployment, approuter, destinations, service bindings, XSUAA, OAuth, SAML/OIDC, SAP Cloud Identity Services, Cloud Connector and role collections.
Experience with Git, automated testing, API design, observability, secure coding, performance engineering, CI/CD and production support.
Demonstrated experience in distressed programme or workstream diagnostics, stabilization, turnaround planning, remediation governance and recovery execution, with evidence of improving delivery confidence, data or application quality, performance, operational stability or go-live readiness.

AI and Digital Expectations:
Use SAP Generative AI, Joule, Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI tools to analyse programme documents, technical artefacts, code or data models, tests, incidents, RAID logs and delivery data identify patterns, dependencies, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
Apply human validation, confidentiality, security, bias awareness, traceability and compliance with client and organisational policies to all AI-assisted outputs.

Leadership and Stakeholder Competencies:
Communicate evidence-based findings clearly, facilitate accountable decisions and collaborate effectively across client, SI, business, architecture, engineering, data, security and operations teams.
Coach team members, own outcomes appropriate to the level, and escalate material risks with clear evidence and recommended actions.

Desirable Experience:
Relevant SAP certifications in SAP BTP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Generative AI or related technologies.
Exposure to programme assurance, quality audits, commercial controls, multi-vendor delivery and S/4HANA transformation.

Additional Information:
Typically 7-10 years of relevant enterprise application, data-platform or SAP delivery experience.
A 15 years full-time education is required.
