Infrastructure Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves defining architecture standards, ensuring high availability, driving performance optimization, and maintaining security and compliance while providing technical leadership and mentoring teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain infrastructure architecture standards, frameworks, and roadmaps.
• Design and implement solutions across servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Manage and optimize Windows and Linux operating systems and associated services.
• Oversee database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL for performance and security.
• Architect and implement hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
• Deploy and manage virtualization platforms.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards.
• Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize infrastructure performance and capacity.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams for integrated solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Develop infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and best practices.

• As per project requirement

Technical Skills (Must Have):

• Strong expertise in Windows and Linux system administration
• Experience with database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms – Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure (multi-cloud exposure preferred)
• Experience in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture design and documentation
• Experience designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards
• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

Secondary Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with hybrid cloud and containerized environments
• Exposure to advanced monitoring and performance tuning tools
• Cross-domain knowledge (networking, storage, security, middleware)

Certifications:

• AWS / Azure Solutions Architect – Preferred
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) – Preferred
• ITIL Foundation – Preferred
• Database certifications (Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL) – Preferred
