Manager, Tax Services - Tax Transformation Consulting – Provision & Compliance

Join Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited and support US-based clients as they modernize and strengthen their tax functions. This role sits within Tax Transformation Consulting and focuses on provision transformation, ASC 740 processes, tax technology implementation, and process improvement. You will help clients enhance reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency by combining tax knowledge with technology-enabled solutions in a global environment.

Work you'll do

As a Manager, Tax Services on the Tax Transformation Consulting (TTC) team, you will be responsible for:

• Manage and lead domestic and global tax provision engagements, with a focus on ASC 740 processes and controls.
• Lead and oversee the implementation, enhancement, and automation of tax software solutions across provision workflows.
• Lead the analysis of tax and financial data to identify process gaps, enhance accuracy, and drive efficiencies across reporting activities.
• Partner with tax, finance, and technology teams to design and implement scalable tax process improvements and translate business requirements into automation and system solutions.
• Oversee the development and review of client-ready documentation, executive-level status updates, and standardized process materials.
• Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced client environment.

Qualifications

Required:

• 8-11 years of experience.
• Full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance or Accounts, or MBA, or Chartered Accountant with experience in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, and Auditing.
• Experience in tax provision, including knowledge of ASC 740.
• Experience overseeing data-intensive activities and organizing data to support reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience developing functional specifications, reporting solutions, and user enablement based on business and tax process requirements.
• Experience leading and collaborating within team environments.

Preferred:

• Experience with provision software such as Corptax, ONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Dataflow, Longview, SAP Direct Tax, Oracle FCCS, and Oracle TRCS.
• Experience completing quarterly and year-end provisions.
• Experience in blueprinting and chart of accounts design.
• Experience with automation and analytical tools such as Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI, and Tableau.
