The opportunity
The Senior Consultant – Oracle HCM-Oracle HCM Payroll Functional will play a key role in the ongoing support, stabilization, and enhancement of the client’s Workday HCM environment, with primary focus on Core HR and Recruiting modules. The role will support day-to-day production issues, business process optimization, minor enhancements, release impact analysis, and stakeholder advisory across the employee and candidate lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 support for Workday Core HR and Recruiting processes in a live production environment.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to:
- Worker data
- Job changes
- Organizational assignments
- Position management
- Recruiting processes
- Candidate lifecycle transactions
- Hire and pre-hire processes
- Analyse root causes, document findings, and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
- Support incident, service request, and problem management activities in line with SLA / KPI expectations.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 5+ years of experience in Workday HCM, with strong hands-on expertise in Core HR and Recruiting.
- Proven experience in AMS / production support / post-go-live support engagements.
- Strong understanding of:
- Worker lifecycle transactions
- Supervisory organizations
- Positions and staffing models
- Recruiting lifecycle from job requisition to hire
- Workday Business Process Framework
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and managing enhancements in a controlled support environment.
- Experience with Workday security concepts, domain access, and role-based permissions.
- Hands-on experience with Workday reporting, including standard reports, custom reports, and calculated fields.
- Strong documentation, issue-tracking, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Workday certification in Core HCM and/or recruiting.
Additionally, good to have
- Experience supporting global HR and Recruiting operations.
- Familiarity with integrations impacting recruiting and worker data.
- Experience with release management, test coordination, and change control processes.
- Exposure to ticketing / service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
