The Opportunity
We are looking for an SAP EWM ABAP Senior Consultant to join the EY GDS Team. As part of our EY GDS – TechOps team, you will be responsible for providing functional support for SAP Sourcing and Procurement across various regions for our global clients. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to address issues, implement enhancements, and optimize design to meet business requirements.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
- 3-7 Years of experience required in one or more areas within SAP Extended Warehouse Management preferably with Global client in ECC 6.0 environment.
- Extensive experience in ABAP objects development for SAP EWM Module
- Responsible for providing support SAP EWM module incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Support incident solving by analyzing incidents raised by users and provides solutions.
- Working closely with customers and teams to ensure issues and requests are followed-up and addressed timely.
- Designed, developed, and coded difficult and complex programs for SAP EWM
- The knowledge of Technical architecture of EWM objects and how to modify standard objects.
- Handle change requests with a clear understanding of new business requirements.
- Proficient in business process mapping, configuration, and end-user training;
- Understand business needs and deliver solutions to make processes more efficient and simpler whenever possible.
- Cross-functional communication skills; experience in offshore/onsite model.
- Defect resolution and defect analysis related to EWM.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a global, cross functional team environment.
- Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management work including ability to do shifts and being on call for critical business requirements
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Functional Expertise: Deep understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, stock management, storage bin strategies, warehouse task optimization, and integration with SAP; Transportation Management (SAP TM).
- Technical Experience: Experience in SAP Embedded EWM or Decentral EWM (Implementation)
- Good Technical skills on EWM topics like FRUI, Monitor Enhancements, PPF, EEWB with functional knowledge includes (Inbound, Outbound and Internal process)
- Well versed with Sourcing & Procurement process:
- SAP Certification in SAP EWM
What you will do:
- Provide day to day Application Management support for SAP Applications across IT Service Management including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management and problem management as Level 2 or 3 Application Management Specialist
- Lead and Coordinate the Resolution of Complex Technical issues and System Outages including root cause analysis and corrective action.
- As an SAP EWM Consultant, you will play a key role in designing and implementing SAP EWM solutions on S/4HANA to optimize warehouse operations and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs and provide advice on SAP EWM solutions and designs.
- Develop and maintain documentation including configuration, user guides and test scripts.
- Mentor and train junior SAP EWM Team Members, sharing best practices and providing guidance on issues and troubleshooting techniques.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and SAP best practices to drive operational efficiency through automation and innovation
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide off hours support as needed to ensure the availability and reliability of critical SAP systems.
- Available to work on shift hours depending on the requirement of the client
