Role Profile: Business Analyst – Senior
Role Summary
We are seeking a functional and techno-functional Business Analyst with prior experience in Infosys Finacle Core Banking. The role focuses on requirements management, solution mapping, process modelling, data analysis, integration and API requirements, interface specifications, and banking data structures across Finacle implementation, transformation, migration, upgrade and modernization programs.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Work as a Business Analyst in banking transformation projects.
- Conduct requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions with business and technology teams.
- Gather, analyze, document and validate business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, process flows, use cases, data mapping documents and test scenarios.
- Perform solution mapping and gap analysis between business requirements and Finacle capabilities.
- Coordinate with Solution Architecture, Development, Testing, Infrastructure and Vendor teams.
- Support data mapping, migration analysis, integration requirements and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure alignment among business requirements, solution design, testing activities and business objectives.
- Support SIT, UAT, Simulation, Go-Live and Hypercare from business and functional perspectives.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong understanding of Finacle Core Banking functionality and ecosystem, including parameterization and configuration impacts.
- Experience in requirements elicitation, business process modelling, functional design, fit-gap analysis and process transformation.
- Understanding of APIs, web services, interface specifications, integration touchpoints, banking data models and data mapping.
- Experience supporting data migration, reconciliation, validation, reporting, audit and regulatory data requirements.
- Exposure to digital and mobile banking, channel integrations, microservices, cloud, DevOps and modern banking technologies.
- Experience designing Java-based extensions, services and integration flows using Finacle Integrator and API Hub on Finacle 11x.
- Experience developing and customizing front-end interfaces, menus and client-side components for Finacle 11x.
- Strong knowledge of Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, Lending, Treasury, Liquidity, Finance, Risk, Compliance and regulatory processes.
- Client-facing communication, documentation, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- MBA, MCA, BE, BTech or equivalent qualification with banking industry experience.
- Business Analysis or banking domain certification such as CBAP, CCBA or ECBA.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Exposure to Finacle Digital Banking, Payments, API Banking and Open Banking initiatives.
- Familiarity with SQL, reporting, reconciliation, UML, BPMN, Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
- Experience using Generative AI and prompt engineering.
