The opportunity
The Technical Scrum Lead, Specialist is responsible for driving Agile adoption and execution within technology teams, ensuring efficient sprint execution and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role involves facilitating Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives, to keep teams aligned and productive.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional agile teams in iterative technology development, ensuring smooth collaboration and adherence to Agile/Scrum principles.
- Coach teams on best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improving agile maturity.
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to define, prioritize and align technology-related outcomes with business goals.
- Identify and proactively remove roadblocks that hinder project progress, ensuring teams have the necessary resources and support.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by maintaining transparency around scope, schedule and budget while effectively addressing concerns.
- Facilitate key agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
- Assist teams in estimating deliverables, increasing velocity and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
- Maintain product and sprint backlogs, ensuring tasks are documented, prioritized and aligned with evolving business needs.
- Apply agile methodologies to integrate changing customer inputs and business conditions into technology-related product development.
- Serve as a mentor, thought leader and agile champion, participating in special projects to drive organizational agility.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in Agile project management, Scrum Master roles, or technical leadership in software development.
- Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban and SAFe frameworks, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps and other Agile project management tools.
- Proficiency in coding and technical concepts, including Java, Angular, Node.js, POSTMAN, CUCUMBER, AWS and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, TDD/BDD and monitoring tools like Splunk and Honeycomb.
- Experience in monitoring and refining dashboards, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous process improvements in Agile environments.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification and Professional Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, SAFe) certification is preferred.

- Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)

- The hourly pay range for this job, in the US, is $XXX per hour. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
