BCSector-P and U- EAM-Senior
About this role
Key responsibilities
- Design technical and functional solutions across asset, work, inventory, procurement, service, safety, and reliability processes.
- Configure and extend MAS 9 applications using Maximo configuration tools, automation scripts, workflows, security groups, application designer, domains, database configuration, and reporting.
- Develop and support integrations with SAP or other ERP platforms, GIS, SCADA/IoT, document management, mobile, condition-monitoring, and external data platforms using APIs, MIF, event-driven patterns, and middleware.
- Prepare solution designs, configuration workbooks, interface specifications, data-migration mappings, test scripts, deployment documentation, and production-support knowledge articles.
- Plan and execute unit, system, integration, regression, performance, and user-acceptance testing; investigate defects and support release deployment.
- Support APM use cases including asset health, condition monitoring, criticality, risk-based maintenance, predictive maintenance, failure analysis, and maintenance-strategy optimization.
- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, testers, and functional teams; provide guidance to junior team members.
- Identify and prioritize AI-enabled EAM use cases such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, work-order triage, failure-mode recommendations, technician copilots, intelligent document processing, and asset-risk forecasting.
- Translate maintenance and reliability problems into governed AI/ML or generative AI solution designs, including business value, data requirements, human oversight, explainability, and measurable success criteria.
- Work with data scientists and engineers to curate asset, work-order, condition-monitoring, failure, and maintenance-history data for model development, validation, and operational deployment.
- Design responsible AI controls covering data privacy, cybersecurity, role-based access, model validation, prompt and output testing, hallucination controls, auditability, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
- Use AI-assisted delivery approaches to accelerate requirements analysis, configuration documentation, automation-script modernization, test-case generation, defect analysis, knowledge transfer, and user support.
Required experience and qualifications
- 6+ years of EAM experience with mid-to-large IBM Maximo implementations, upgrades, or support engagements; experience with Maximo 7.6.x and exposure to MAS 8/9.
- Hands-on knowledge of Maximo Manage and at least one related area such as Mobile, Monitor, Health, Predict, Scheduler, Spatial, or industry solutions.
- Working knowledge of APM concepts, reliability-centered maintenance, asset criticality, condition-based maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
- Experience with Java, Python or JavaScript, automation scripting, SQL, REST APIs, integration frameworks, and relational databases.
- Understanding of AI/ML and generative AI fundamentals, data quality, model evaluation, responsible AI, and practical EAM use cases.
- Strong client communication, analytical, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred experience
- IBM Maximo/MAS certification or relevant IBM badges.
- Experience in utilities, power generation, oil and gas, manufacturing, transportation, civil infrastructure, healthcare, or telecommunications.
- Exposure to cloud, container platforms, Red Hat OpenShift, DevSecOps, observability, and automated testing.
What success looks like
- Consistently delivers secure, scalable, supportable, and business-aligned MAS 9 solutions.
- Converts APM, analytics, and AI opportunities into measurable improvements in reliability, safety, cost, productivity, and asset availability.
- Builds trusted client relationships and strengthens team capability through collaboration, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
