Job Summary
Oracle Golden Gate DBA – L3\\\\r\\\\nEssential Skills and Competencies:\\\\r\\\\n• Minimum 8+ Yrs. relevant experience on Oracle 18c/19c Database Administration\\\\r\\\\n• Candidate should be able to quickly understand and resolve issues, mitigate risks and dependencies\\\\r\\\\nand the ability to drive projects and resources to completion\\\\r\\\\n• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and documentation skills.\\\\r\\\\n• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Golden Gate installation, configuration, monitoring,\\\\r\\\\nand troubleshooting in production environments.\\\\r\\\\n• Willing to work in 24x7 environment with Rotational Shifts.\\\\r\\\\n• Actively participate in service improvement plans.\\\\r\\\\n• Should be able to drive the critical issues and effectively communicate over the calls.\\\\r\\\\n• Should be ready to work as On-call as per the requirement.\\\\r\\\\nResponsibilities:\\\\r\\\\n• Install, configure, and administer Oracle Golden Gate (Classic and Microservices\\\\r\\\\narchitecture) for real-time data replication, synchronization, and database migrations\\\\r\\\\nacross on-premises and hybrid environments.\\\\r\\\\n• Manage Golden Gate deployments using the Administration Server, Service Manager,\\\\r\\\\nand Performance Metrics Service within the microservices framework.\\\\r\\\\n• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Golden Gate processes to resolve issues such\\\\r\\\\nas replication lag, data conflicts, and process failures.\\\\r\\\\n• Implement performance tuning and parallel replication strategies to enhance throughput and\\\\r\\\\nreplication efficiency.\\\\r\\\\n• Collaborate closely with Oracle database environments including RAC, ASM, Data Guard,\\\\r\\\\nExadata, and OEM to ensure high availability and consistency of replicated data.\\\\r\\\\n• Utilize AWR, ADDM, and other performance tools to analyze and improve database and\\\\r\\\\nreplication performance.\\\\r\\\\n• Implement, configure, and maintain Data Guard and RAC environments, handling day-to-day\\\\r\\\\nadministration and troubleshooting.\\\\r\\\\n• Use Data Pump (Export/Import) utilities for database migration and data management tasks.\\\\r\\\\n• Develop and maintain shell scripts for reporting, automation, and Golden Gate\\\\r\\\\nmonitoring.\\\\r\\\\n• Design and implement heterogeneous replication between Oracle and non-Oracle\\\\r\\\\ndatabases using Golden Gate Microservices.\\\\r\\\\n• Contribute to performance optimization, troubleshooting, and capacity planning of\\\\r\\\\nhigh-volume replication systems.\\\\r\\\\nRequired Skills:\\\\r\\\\n• Strong experience with Oracle Golden Gate (Classic and Microservices architectures).\\\\r\\\\n• Expertise in replication setup, tuning, conflict resolution, and parallel processing.\\\\r\\\\n• In-depth understanding of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Exadata, and related technologies.\\\\r\\\\n• Proficiency in database performance tuning (AWR, ADDM) and exposure to OEM monitoring.\\\\r\\\\n• Hands-on experience with Oracle 18c/19c installation and administration.\\\\r\\\\n• Knowledge of shell scripting and automation frameworks.\\\\r\\\\n• Experience working in heterogeneous database environments.
