About this role
Job Summary
- Experience on avamar/veeam/cohesity/networker and data domain management.
- Experience on Quantum & IBM Tape Libraries
- Supporting various production environments like windows, unix, linux, exchange, oracle and mssql
- Basic understanding of Netapp filers.
- Backup implementation of windows, linux and solaris clients.
- Backup implementation of qtrees (netapp filers).
- Performs restore of database, exchange, os.
- Performs integrity restores of various applications/participate in ORTs.
- L2 troubleshooting and Break/Fix of backup errors.
- Documentation of best practices.
- Day to day interaction with various support groups like db services, netbackup L3, wintel support , unix support, nas support & san support
- Experience on netbackup/comvault/cohesity will be an added advantage
