AWS DB Backup Specialist

Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB Perform database installation, configuration, and monitoring Handle backup and recovery operations to ensure data safety and availability Perform database restoration and disaster recovery testing Support database migrations and upgrades Execute schema changes, refresh, and data patching activities Monitor database performance and perform basic performance tuning Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolution Work closely with application and support teams during deployments and releases Ensure proper documentation of database processes and configurations Required Skills Hands-on experience in PostgreSQL Oracle Database MongoDB Good understanding of Backup & recovery strategies Database migration and upgrades Schema management and refresh Basic knowledge of SQL and query optimization Database performance tuning Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
