As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure enterprise platforms and operational systems—from GIS and asset management to SCADA and customer information—deliver consistent, compliant, and high-performing outcomes. • Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Strategy & Leadership
• • Lead quality engineering activities across utilities platforms, ensuring consistent test practices and measurable quality outcomes.
• • Define test strategy, scope, and approach aligned to delivery timelines and regulatory compliance needs.
• • Mentor testers and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and operations teams to embed quality early in the lifecycle.
• Test Planning & Execution
• • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and traceability for GIS, Maximo, SAP DMS, CC&B/CIS, and SCADA-integrated workflows.
• • Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across enterprise and operational technology touchpoints.
• • Validate data integrity and process flows across systems such as 3GIS/MapInfo, IBM Maximo, and SAP DMS.
• Automation & Defect Management
• • Drive automation testing initiatives (including Finacle-IVS automation testing practices where applicable) to improve coverage and release confidence.
• • Manage defect lifecycle: triage, prioritization, root-cause collaboration, and verification of fixes with clear reporting to stakeholders.
• Compliance & Operational Readiness
• • Ensure testing supports utilities regulatory compliance by validating controls, auditability, and documentation readiness.
• • Support release readiness by coordinating test sign-offs, test evidence, and quality metrics for go-live decisions.
• Minimum Qualifications:
• • Bachelor of Engineering.
• • 3–8 years of experience in quality engineering, including leading test execution and coordinating QA activities across teams.
• • Hands-on experience testing enterprise platforms and integrations involving GIS tools (MapInfo Professional and/or 3GIS).
• •Working knowledge of IBM Maximo and its business processes

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in Manual and Functional Testing within Utility domain applications.
• Hands-on testing experience in one or more of the following:
• ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) such as Schneider Electric ADMS, GE GridOS, Oracle NMS.
• Oracle CC&B (Customer Care & Billing) including billing, meter-to-cash, customer account management, payments, collections, and service orders.
• GIS (Geographic Information System) platforms such as ESRI ArcGIS, ArcFM, Smallworld GIS.
• IBM Maximo modules including Asset Management, Work Management, Preventive Maintenance, and Inventory.
• Experience in Test Case Design, Test Execution, Defect Management, Regression Testing, and SIT/UAT support.
• Good understanding of utility business processes including outage management, network operations, customer billing, work and asset management.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
• Ability to analyze requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and traceability matrices.
