MES Consultant

Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions across global manufacturing facilities. The role involves defining digital manufacturing strategies, driving large-scale MES transformation programs, and delivering scalable solutions using leading MES platforms such as Sepasoft, AVEVA MES, Siemens Opcenter, Delmia Apriso, SAP MII/ME, and Ignition. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, plant operations teams, OT/IT teams, and system integrators to enable smart manufacturing initiatives and Industry 4.0 transformation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define MES architecture, roadmap, and deployment strategy.
• Design and implement ISA-95 compliant MES solutions.
• Lead manufacturing process assessments and digital transformation initiatives.
• Architect integrations between MES, ERP, SCADA, Historian, and other enterprise systems.
• Lead global MES implementation programs and delivery governance.
• Manage stakeholders, customer workshops, and executive presentations.
• Support pre-sales, solution estimation, and proposal development.
• Drive best practices, reusable frameworks, and manufacturing intelligence solutions.

Technical Requirements

• MES Platforms: Ignition, Sepasoft, AVEVA MES, Siemens Opcenter, Delmia Apriso, SAP ME/MII
• Standards: ISA-95, ISA-88, ISA-62443, GAMP5
• Integration: SAP/Oracle/Infor ERP, SCADA, Historian, LIMS, WMS
• Technologies: OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet
• Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle
• Cloud & Analytics: Azure, AWS, Data Lake, Power BI
• Architecture: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Design, Cybersecurity, HA/DR
• Experience: 15+ years in Manufacturing Systems with strong MES implementation and consulting experience
