ABAP Developer

• A day in the life of an Infoscion
• • As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• • You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• • You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• • You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines
• • Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

Roles & Responsibilities

• • Bachelor’s degree with 5-9 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience.
• • Strong expertise in SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
• • Hands-on experience with DDIC, ALV Reports, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• • Knowledge of Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs, and SAP Transport Management (CTS).
• • Good understanding of SAP FI/CO modules and related data models.
• • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• • Experience in ABAP performance tuning and optimization.
• • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• • Ability to manage end-to-end development projects.
• • Experience mentoring junior team members.
• • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• • Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and business teams.

Technical Requirements

• • Professional experience building high-quality apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level
• • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP
• • Knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway
• • Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5
• • Experience with workflow, Web Dynpro ABAP, or PI/PO integrations
• • SAP certification in ABAP
• • Experience with Open-Source tools and frameworks
• • Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
