Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Solution Architect
About this role
Infosys is seeking an Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Solution Architect. The position will primarily be responsible for driving the End-to-End Solution for Financials. The Selected candidate should be expertise in ensuring deliverables meet functional requirements and design specifications. Interact with customer process consultants and business SME to understand and analyze various processes. Documenting and preparing the Configuration activities. Candidate will be contributing to solution in different phases of the consulting lifecycle. Candidate will be intensely involved in business process consulting; candidate will define the problem, propose and create the solution. Candidate will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. Candidate will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. Roles & Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture
- • Lead end to end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, IC).
- • Define the chart of accounts, legal entity structure, ledger configuration, intercompany framework, and subledger accounting rules.
- • Design integrated finance processes such as procure to pay (P2P), order to cash (O2C), and record to report (R2R).
- 2. Requirements Gathering & Fit Gap Analysis
- • Perform fit-gap analysis and document enhancements, customizations, and integration points.
- • Translate business requirements into functional designs (MD50/FBD) and architectural diagrams.
- 3. Cross Functional Collaboration
- • Work closely with technical teams, including integrations, reports, security, and data migration teams.
- • Collaborate with SCM, HCM, Projects, and Manufacturing teams to ensure end to end finance alignment.
- 4. Configuration & Solution Validation
- • Oversee and validate configurations for:
- o GL (ledgers, COA, AGIS/IC processes, allocations, consolidations)
- o AP (invoices, approvals, payments, bank integrations)
- o AR (billing, receipts, lockbox, revenue accounting)
- 5. Integration & Reporting Oversight
- • Define integration requirements with 3rd party systems (banks, billing, procurement, CRM).
- • Guide teams on OTBI, FRS, BI Publisher reports, and financial analytics.
- 6. Project Governance & Delivery
- • Act as the primary finance solution authority for the ERP program.
- • Own end-to-end design decisions and resolve cross-functional issue
- 7. Stakeholder & Executive Communication
- • Present solution options, risks, and recommendations to program leadership.
- • Lead design reviews and provide progress updates to steering committees.
Technical Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree
- • 15+ years of overall Information Technology experience and minimum 8+ years of exclusive
- • Hands-on experience in GL, IC, AP, AR, FA, CA
- • Must have implementation experience with a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud and foundational knowledge on AI
- • Required to have at least 2 or 3 full life cycle implementation experience in Oracle Financials Cloud (AP, GL, AR, IC).
- • Led at least two full cycle Oracle Cloud implementations as a Finance Lead/Architect.
- • Strong experience in COA design, multi-ledger architecture, Financial consolidations, Intercompany accounting
- • Solid understanding of Oracle project methodology (OUM) , and Agile and testing strategies such as Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and Process Playbacks (SIT and UAT etc.)
- • Good understanding of FBDI templates, integration and data migration concepts
- • OTBI, BIP, FRS reporting capabilities

- Preferred Qualifications:
- • Oracle Cloud certifications (Financials Cloud, General Ledger, Payables, Receivables).
- • Experience with Legacy ERP to-Fusion migration or hybrid multi-ERP environments.
- • Knowledge of Oracle Projects and its integration with Finance
- • Treasury and bank integration frameworks
- • Experience in industries such as Food and Beverage
- • Exposure to finance transformation programs (FP&A tools, automation, AI/ML-enabled forecasting).
- • Familiarity with SOX compliance, audit controls, and governance frameworks.
